Situated behind the Tempo supermarket in Karaoglanoglu, the tempo cafe is an excellent and popular family run cafe restaurant in Northern Cyprus.
With a menu of international and mouth-watering Turkish cuisine, Tempo’s speciality is their amazing tender steaks, cooked to perfection exactly how you like it. Owner Kiraz Mer?ah ensures standards are high and the hard-working, friendly staff are always on hand if needed. Pop in for a snack or something bigger, and if you are around on the weekend make time to enjoy the great live music in the restaurant most saturday nights.
They regular cater for large parties, so if you are planning a celebration give them a visit. If you are in a rush all dishes are available to take away.
Interesting fact – Look high above the entrance and you will see a image of a rabbit into the stone. This is to signify good luck and prosperity. The meaning gets lost a little in translation but as a rabbit can run fast uphill, so too can their business grow with speed. Have a look for it when you visit.

Found this place on the last day of our stay (Easter). Will definitely be back next Oct. Great dinning experience and very reasonable prices.

We stayed for a week in the Top Set Hotel, Once we discovered this Restaurant we came back everyday.
The food is excellent and of fresh quality. I advised them to start a Hotel as we were disapointed in the way the Top Set was run. It was a joyfull site to see the restaurant filled with Top Set guests. The friendly waiters allways helped as much as they could. If I ever go back to this region I'm sure I would go to the Tempo reastaurant and shop. If you ever start a Hotel let us know, We will be your guests. Thanks for the enjoyment and the deliscouse food.
