Dear Sis,
As we approach Christmas it does not feel very much like Christmas where we live but closer to Girne you will see Christmas trees and decorations as the locals try and make us more at home.
On 14 November, Rob and I went to the Remembrance Service at the Old British Cemetery. This was our second year and it was as moving as last year’s service. The new vicar of St. Andrew’s Church in Girne took the service and at times I felt a little sorry for him as he had to contend with the Turkish Air Force flying overhead.
