Cyprus Pumas
Who are they?
Formed in October 2003 by Mustafa Riza a former Redruth player in the UK Cyprus pumas are a Rugby Football team based in Northern Cyprus.
What do they do?
Since their conception the Pumas have gone on from strength to strength.
In their first season they were confined to demonstration games at Girne’s 20 Temmuz Stadyumuand.
Now games are played in the official Turkish league and they regularly attract 600 plus fans.
Anything else?
The Pumas have a fantastic Youth Academy, and encourage anyone interested in Rugby to get in touch.
There is also a lively social scene around the Pumas and its a great way to meet people.

From Kyrenia drive towards Alsanca
Pass under the ‘welcome to Alsancak message board’
Look out for the signpost to Alsancak village on your left ( at this location you will see the golden lady statue)
Approximately 300m later and directly opposite the Chapter One restaurant turn right.
